About Me

Hi — I’m Bob, the hiker behind HikeAPeak Tees.

I’ve been hiking for more than three decades, mostly here on Vancouver Island. From the rugged coastline of the West Coast Trail to the remote ridges of Strathcona Provincial Park, the hikes and backpacking trips stay with me long after I’ve returned.

One of my most memorable backpacking trips was to the remote beaches in Cape Scott Park at the northwest corner of the island — just north of where the early seasons of Alone were filmed.

Whether it's the breakers rolling in off the ocean or the quiet of the interior mountains, these trails inspired me to start this shop.

HikeAPeak Tees is just me — no big team or warehouse. I design the shirts, run the store, and handle every order myself. My goal is to create quality shirts that reflect a love of hiking without all the noise.
